  • Thomas Finney

    DVM

    Dr. Finney has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 20 years and is in his 14th year here at VCA Hanson Animal Hospital. Dr. Finney is happily married and the father of 3 children. He thoroughly enjoys teaching and outdoor activities.He has taught at a high school and junior high school at a christian summer camp for over 5 years. He also has coaching experience in soccer and softball and teaching experience in drama in his town and for the Boy and Girl Scouts of America. He is an avid hiker and camper. He enjoys performing small animal surgeries and has great experience in clinical medicine including oncology, microbiology, and exotic medicine.

  • Joanne Oscar

    DVM

    Dr. Oscar did her undergraduate studies at Lehigh University where she got a B.S. in Biology. She obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University and completed her clinical year at the University of Minnesota. She moved to Massachusetts in 2004 when she started working at Hanson Animal Hospital (now VCA Hanson). She sees mostly dog and cats and the occasional rabbit or pocket pet.

  • Michael Gerber

    DVM

    Dr Gerber grew up in Sharon, Massachusetts and attended the University of Vermont where he earned his bachelor of science in animal sciences. He graduated from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2010. Immediately upon graduation from Western, he completed a 13 month intership in medicine and surgery at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. The Animal Medical Center is one of the largest and busiest specialty referral centers in the world. Dr Gerber's clinical interests include internal medicine and reproduction. He has recently returned to Massachusetts after spending the past year in Florida working as an emergency clinician at a 24 hour specialty referral and emergency hospital. He shares his home with his fiance, two cats and three papillons. In his spare time, he enjoys showing his papillons in AKC sanctioned events, sailing, singing and spending time with friends and family. Dr Gerber is very excited about being back home in Massachusetts and being part of the team at VCA Whitman and VCA Hanson.

  • Markeya Williams

    DVM

    Dr. Markeya Williams is a native of Northern New Jersey. In 2002, she completed here undergraduate studies in Animal & Poultry Sciences at Tuskegee University and 2006 obtained her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Williams spent the majority of her career in academia where she served as clinical veterinarian and surgical faculty. Dr. Williams is most passionate about exotic animal medicine, comparative anatomy, pain management, and soft tissue surgery. In her spare time, Dr. Williams enjoys travel and food writing as well as food photography.
